The Big Dirty's little brother. We needed a smash all day version of The Big Dirty and here it is. Brewed with wheat and oats and matching the hop profile with Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra Lupulin Powder.

On draught at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. It pours a turbid, dirty tangerine color with a thin, ecru-colored head and film of lacing inside the glass. The smell is citrus-forward with lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, and melon. The smell is where the comparison to The Big Dirty ends. Little Dirty tastes very different, opening with a big, crackery malt base. There is far more tart citrus and less ripe melon and stone fruit than characterizes the DIPA. The lemon and dry cracker notes dominate. It is undeniably tasty but in a different way. The mouth feel is the polar opposite of Big: It is very lite and crisp with pleasant carbonation, and it is crushable at 4.7% ABV. Overall, as stated before, while the hop bill may be similar to The Big Dirty, this is a very different beer, which stands on its own.
