A cozy, seasonal ale brewed with Belgian yeast for a soft, fruity complexity beneath the spice. Notes of clove, cinnamon, orange peel, and allspice blend seamlessly with the yeast’s natural esters, giving this beer a warm, mulled-ale character without being heavy. Smooth, aromatic, and wonderfully festive — a winter warmer with a Belgian soul.

On draught at the brewery. Served on cask. It is an attractive pour: iced tea-cola in color with a creamy, light mocha head that disappeared quickly. A good nose with roasted malt, cola, clove, coriander, and a whiff of orange. Its taste is malty with familiar Belgian spicing, including clove, coriander, and allspice, as well as notes of orange peel and chocolate. This ale is nicely bodied with low carbonation, and I barely noticed the 6.5% ABV. Overall, I'm impressed with this Winter Warmer. While it has a holiday feel it is just as appropriate in late February.
