Woof I scored this stuff near the Oregon/California border last summer. Was like $10/4 pack, citra hops, what could go wrong?
Poured an industry familiar yellow/light amber with a little bit of haze to it. 1/2" white head. Unfortunately, this would be the best the beer would be: looking at it. Aroma was woefully deficient in hop aroma, especially Citra. So much so that I began to doubt if there was any Citra used in the dry hopping.
Taste: this was just bitterness in the grapefruit realm (at best). Really came off like an old school c hop and c malt beer. Citra my ass I continued to think. Began to think conspiratorially, maybe it was 90% bittering hops, and then they put like an ounce of Citra in that is totally dominated. Bitter caramel and toffee malty notes that I could do without. I'm sorry but this is a below average ipa. I think after my initial beer, I gave two cans away and soldiered through the final one. Maybe it was a 6 pack, but either way, 4 beers, 6 beers, whatever, normally the $10 price point works great for this style, but here, would not recommend, not even once.

Hazy honey with lots of carbonation and 4 fingers of fluffy beige head.
Smells of glue, pineapple and papaya.
Tastes like glue, oranges and creme caramel.
Medium body with moderate carbonation.
I got this in Shingletown today, and am drinking it in Redding, Aug 8th, 2019.

Pours a light tangerine color, and is oh so slightly cloudy. The aroma had more subtle notes of citrus than I expected. The taste strikes a nice balance between hops and citrus. A very fine beverage on this summer evening!

Pours a rich copper, amber, very clear with a thick, persistent head.
Nose is mild, malty, some lightly herbal and citrus peel notes.
Taste is pleasant, classic wcipa, some pine, some honey, some orange, some grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is nice and crisp, clean but malty enough to build up, definitely tilts a little toward the maltier euroipas in terms of how much syrup can build up.
Overall this is a decent IPA that i might pick up again but really not anything i'd go out of my way for

Gold-amber with a white frothy head.
Smell is buttery biscuit, toffee, almond and citrus with taste bringing lemon-orange bars and biscuit through a frothy medium body and semi-dry finish.

I haven't had an IPA this dark in I don't know how long...11 SRM! Pretty decently executed beer. Aroma is fantastic, very good representation of Citra/Simcoe combo. Slightly ashy finish to the beer similar to soooo many IPAs I've had from so many breweries. This is just a really old version of the style. This would have been spot on 6-8 years ago. Malts just get in the way. Not a bad beer, just really old in style.

Excellent IPA! Great choice from this new brewery. Very busy place as well.
