The appearance is as expected- hazy, but not overly so. Notable citrus aroma precedes a moderate hoppiness, with a slightly sour finish and a fizzy mouthfeel.

This is in a big ol stove pipe can without a canned on date but I have never seen it before and they are semi local to me so I assume it only became available/was canned within the last 2 or 3 weeks.
Pours a surprisingly dark copper/amber, almost red. Very thick and persistent snow white head, there is an opacity but not what most would recognize as 'hazy'.
Smell is muted, floral and herby notes are present but not at all prominent. The scent is mild at best.
Taste is caramelly and a bit spicy. Comes across as a rye IPA, there is nothing to suggest the 'hazy' moniker.
Mouthfeel is moderate to thin and really poor for trying to rep the 'hazy' idea. Again, it would be decent if labeled a rye IPA but still only decent.
Overall this seems like a so-so rye IPA labeled as a hazy IPA. It is not what you want if you bought it by the label.
