From a 6-pack picked up at the source in Crescent City, CA
12oz can poured into a Big Head's Belgian-style tulip
P dark gold w/ a 1-2f foamy white head
N med to med-bold; pleasant grapefruit and light candied citrus
T a well-carbonated forward leads to plenty of bitey citrus mid-palate; bite lingers well into the finish/aftertaste; blood orange notes w/ med to med-bold bitterness; fairly solid pale malt backbone supports; some leafiness in there as well
Mf light-med to med bodied w/ high carb; coating finish
O not too shabby; definitely bold (and lacking some balance, imo), but decent in its own right

On tap at the brewery's gastropub in Crescent City, California.
This "Citra IPA" has a clear golden boxy and an excellent white head.
Moderately strong, bitter, and hoppy, with plenty of tropical fruit notes. Grapefruit in the aftertaste.
