330 ml bottle, from Oddbins Aberdeen City. ABV is 6.5%. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head of poor retention. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, chocolate and peanuts. Moderate carbonation, soft mouthfeel. The flavour is slightly dry, with the same elements as in the aroma. Well balanced. Very moderate hops.

Lovely ink-black liquid, with a small chocolate-brown head which dissipated quite quickly. Can smell the peanut slightly, and taste it a bit more strongly. It's an interesting flavour, but one bottle was enough.

Pours very dark brown with a small head and minimal spotting. Nose is mildly peanutty, but only the lightest stout smells coming through like roasted malts and chocolate. Taste is a bit more full flavored with a milk stout like creaminess along with light coffee, licorice, and a touch of that peanut. Not a very exciting peanut beer if you've had something like Yellow Belly (which somehow doesn't even use nuts) and not a super exciting stout either. However, it a easy drinking and isn't flawed either. Likeable.

Bottle pour into tulip glass. Porter brewed with peanuts and with a pinch of salt added! Looks like a regular half decent porter; nice and black with a small but resilient tan head. Smells exactly like a Snickers which is quite cool. Taste doesn't live up to the nose, it could do with being a touch sweeter perhaps. The base beer is quality but the additions don't quite do it justice. Bit of a novelty but I'm glad I tried it. Cheers!
