440ml Can from brewery website (£2.44):
Jet black with an opaque body & a thin, foamy head that's medium brown coloured & just about covers the entire surface. It's a sweet chocolate nose with some milky notes on top & plenty of sugars with slightly darker notes towards the end & the odd roasted smell too. The taste is more malty with stronger roasted flavours on top of the chocolate sweetness & sugars, there's a slightly smoked, woody taste further on & I got a faint coffee bitterness at the end too. The body was about medium & fairly well-carbonated for the style, it was sweet but not overly so with a nice balance & some earthy bitterness & smoked touches further on too.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Jan 2018, so it's a little out of date. Purchased a while back from the Brewdog webshop. The label describes it as a chocolate milk stout brewed with cacao and lactose.
A: Poured into a tulip. Bottle conditioned. A very dark brown hue that appears ultra-black in the glass. Yields a large head of frothy brown foam that hangs around for a few minutes before collapsing and dissipating.
S: Aroma of intense roasted malt with hints of chocolate, molasses, dried fruit, mild burnt grain, ale yeast, lactose, faint stewed leaves and a vague sour twang in the background. Very nice.
T: Tastes of bitter roasted malt with notes of molasses, burnt grain, cocoa/chocolate, subtle dried fruit, ale yeast, mild lactose, faint leaves and a twinge of sourness in the background. Very dry, with a thin malt presence on the palate and an intense malt-driven bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with light carbonation and decent body. A tad insubstantial for the style. Somewhat astringent; dries the palate. Aftertaste of very bitter roasted malt, cocoa, molasses, ale yeast, stewed leaves and faint lactose.
O: Complex, with exceptional malt presence. Looks good, while the aroma and flavour blend roasted malt, cocoa, molasses, yeast and stewed leaves. The flavour possesses a harshness verging on unbalanced. Decent body but could be thicker for the style. An imperfect yet impressive effort - if you like dark beers then this is well worth sampling.

Black colour. Toasty espresso nose, black treacle, figgy and burnt caramel, and a little smokey. Sweet n heavy nose. Dark and beautiful. Dry and lovely Dutch processed cocoa body. Semisweet choco malt. Zippy soft carb. Earthy notes. Sweet and semi heavy but super balanced. Dry cocoa nib slightly bitter finish. A bit of a wet vanilla tobacco leaf flavour as well.

Pours active jet black with a red eclipse. Tan head doesn't last very long.
Aroma is very roasty; dark chocolate, expresso, smoky grain and sweet malts. Flavour is very much on par with the same notes as the nose; the roast and ashiness is dominant but not too bitter. There's tobacco ash, leather, cocoa powder, roasted coffee beans and yet an underlying sweetness to balance everything out. I'm definately picking up coca cola on the aftertaste as well.
Feel is very weak; thin, too carbonated, watery. Not at all impressed for a 'Stout'.
Overall, if this was full bodied, creamy and dense like it should be, the flavours would work very well; but it just fails too much in the body department which lets the beer down.
