This beer is a real mouthful of Asian flavours all wrapped up in a smooth roasty stout. The cooling coconut and Kaffir Lime pair perfectly with eastern spices and cayenne heat to develop many layers of sensory awesomeness.

440ml Can from brewery website (£3.10):
Quite a thick looking & opaque black with a 0.5cm, light brown head that settles as a patchy surface lace. The nose is quite sweet with lots of coconut & a few sugars with a tiny bit of spice to finish. The taste is dominated by coconut too with a warming chilli heat & some background spices that give it quite a warming feel, there's a tiny bit of coffee too. The body is about medium but quite softly carbonated with a sweet, slightly spicy finish that makes for an unusual combination .

2/3 pint in schooner glass on draft at Casc, Aberdeen before heading off to see the mighty Iron Maiden in concert last month.
Coconut, chilli, lemongrass, kaffir lime and ginger flavours infused into a decent base porter. A Thai green curry in a glass. Not too spicy but left a nice residual heat. Weird but strangely pleasant. Mouthfeel excellent. Really enjoyed this but one was enough. Cheers.
