Copenhagen 29/6 2019. 33 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Photo manipulation with a Roaring Rock and Roll lion on the can.

Pours murky, dark red with a small, fragile pink head. Disappears fairly fast leaving, small patch of foam behind. No lacing.

Aroma is fresh and poised between berry sweetness and citrus sourness. Raspberry, Blackcurrant and Cherries. More moderate, slightly sharp sourness lurking in the background.

Light but lively carbonation. Thin, oily, slightly tingling texture.

Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a stronger sourness. Aftertaste is sour but with a sweet undercurrent. Semi-dry finish.

Very fresh and well balanced Berry beer. Good fit for a Summer day.

440ml can from brewery website (£2.70):
Translucent, purplish-red with a thin white lacing on the top that's quite patchy. The nose is slightly sour with some berries & a background sweetness but it's light & basic. It's slightly more sour tasting, with raspberries then a blackcurrant & strawberry backing on top of a well carbonated, sharp & sour body but overall it was pretty basic.

L: Bright red with a thick but short-lived pink head. No lacing.
S: Ribena.
T: Nicely tart but overwhelmed by blackcurrant flavour.
F: Light body, sharp & clean.
O: Overwhelmingly a fruit beer. Way too much fruit for me.

On tap at Mother Mac's Public House.
Hazy red almost purple in color with a thin off white head.
Tart fruity lemony aroma. Berry tart and sweetness against a lemony base. Pretty nice sour.

Clear red colour. Smells like sweet dense fruity berries and black currants. Fruity and sweet, reminiscent of a cider. Softer carbonation suits it well. Big juicy raspberry jam profile, black currants, blackberries, and not much else. Big and juicy but not too heavy.
