Hirtshals 12/10 2020. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Black can with Fierce’s cool angry hop flower logo and the basic information about the beer in foil with a green tint.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet odor of brown sugar, vanilla, coconut, sweet liqueur and fermented layer cake.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, creamy yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering. Finish is sugary with a boozy streak.
Indeed a very big moose. Very sweet, drenched in vanilla, coconut and a healthy dose of sweet alcohol.

Key keg. Black in colour with a thin head. Lacing apparent.
Rich sweet aroma of chocolate and vanilla and tastes the same.
Full bodied. Alcohol is reasonably well hidden.
Pudding in a glass.

Black color with a ring of mocha foam. Aroma has spicy notes, some booze soaked raisins and dark malts. Taste is malty, sweet at first, spicy with cinnamon and a bit of star anise. Medium plus body with soft carbonation. Quite nice one, spicy but not cloying in any way.

It was a strange beer, with a lots of fruity and cocoa flavour, and a very alcoholic aroma.

330ml bottle from Brewdog.com (£5.60):
Outstanding stuff from Fierce & Brewdog, this one is loaded with flavours & opens with a strong sweetness that was mainly down to the vanilla but also some chocolate malts & oak too. It's a strong one with some rum & alcohol grain towards the middle but it remained quite easy to drink thanks to the smooth body & excellent balance. I went in expecting this to be similar to the Tonka version of the beer that Fierce done with Brew York not long after this one was initially release but this version is so much better & has a lot more going on as well. There was some nice roasted flavours towards the end with background spice, in particular cinnamon coming through to round things off exceptionally well; an amazing beer from the start.
