440 ml can, from the brewery webshop. ABV is 4.5%. Deep red to purple colour, moderate pink head. Aroma of blackcurrants and lactic acid as expected, also some unexpected hints of broth, meat and spices. Light bodied. The flavour is not very sweet, but not extremely sour or tart either. Moderate notes of blackcurrants, fairly refreshing.

Pours hazy. If you told me it was fizzy ribena I would believe you. Head disappears immediately

Blackcurrant is obvious on the nose. Nothing else

Taste is similar, initially rather acidic. Slightly dry finish. Thin.

It's ok. A shot of vodka to your fruity soft drink of choice would probably taste better

330ml Can from Lidl supermarket (£1.49):
Definitely a sour one, the beer is quite tarty & acidic with blackcurrants & raspberries dominating this one with some sweetness a little further on. It's a fairly basic tasting sour beer & it wasn't exactly complex either but it was juicy at times & was easy enough to drink as well.
