This Hazy and Juicy IPA is a re-mix of our soft Scottish water with a big punch of American and Australian hops. A perfectly balance of soft and smooth mouthfeel and medium bitterness with tropical hoppiness.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 6.5%. Cloudy-brownish-yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, pine needles and sprucetips. Slightly sweet flavour with notes of pine needles, resin and grapefruit. Somewhat overcarbonated.

440ml Can from Fierce Beer online store (£3.55):
Cloudy golden with a 1cm, foamy white head & lacing on the sides. It's fruity with mango, pine & apricot then citrus hops. It's a floral bitterness with the taste, I got some citrus & pine hops with a few tropical fruits at the end, but slightly less pronounced. It's a medium body with a balanced bitterness & even a faint bit of sweetness showing then a crisp, lightly carbonated body with a wet, bitter finish.

Got this at the Duvel guy in Utrecht
From a 440ml can into a snifter
Best Before 29 October 2020
APPEARANCE: Pours a 1+ finger, medium looking, foamy white head with great retention. Perfectly clear amber yellow with medium carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a full, foamy cap and clings to the glass. Splotchy wisp and ring remains until the end leaving lots of thick lacing on the glass as it empties. Certainly not juicy looking but solid looking head on this one.
SMELL: Pineapple, passion fruit, caramel notes, honeydew melon and touches of lemon on the nose. Decent strength.
TASTE: Melon, honeydew and some caramel malts up front. Rather less impressive than the nose. A bit of grassy hops at the swallow, then more caramel sweetness, honeydew melon, light notes of lemon citrus and hay flavors linger on the palate.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes a touch dry.
OVERALL: This is rather bland. The nose showed some promise but the flavor didn’t have much going on and it was rather mild to boot. Nothing overly wrong with this but it’s rather mundane. There are lots of other beers in the 'juicy IPA' category that outrun this one, so no need to go back.
