Day 6 of the advent calendar 2021
While it looks really nice in a glass-- very pale with thick creamy head-- and the smell is malty and some indistinct hops, the taste is disappointing. Any potential hop flavour was more than offset by sweetness and, while hardly a 'bad' beer, this one suffered from boredom. Nothing to pique the interest or stimulate the taste buds.

330 ml can, from the brewery webshop. ABV is 4.2%. Golden colour, large white head. Aroma of sweetish malts, floral hops and honey. Malty flavour, some sweetness, moderate herbal hops in the finish.

440ml can from FierceBeer.com (£1.99):
Light golden & translucent with a 0.5cm head that's foamy & white, covering the surface completely & holding well. The nose is a standard lager one with some pale malts & grassy hops, a little hay too but not too much else. With the taste I got more of the pale malts, a touch of citrus & the grassy hops were stronger too before some bread malts & subtle hops seen things out. The body was a medium, crisp one with a good balance & it was pretty much what you'd expect from a good pilsner; very nice stuff.
