Copenhagen 13/10 2022. 40 cl from tap at Mikkeller & Friends, Stefansgade, Kbh. N.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Stable. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with an odor of pale malts, toffee and citrus. Surprisingly strong scent of alcohol when I take the modest ABV into account.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Lingers for a while. Aftertaste tart and a bit sour and dry. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
A bit harsh and unforgiving despite a modest ABV.

440ml can from Aldi (£1.79):
A light, peach tinged amber with a large, 3cm head that's foamy & bone white with a few bubbles stuck to the sides before eventually settling as a thin surface lacing lacing. The nose is quite strong with zesty citrus & peach, tropical notes & a hint of strawberry adding some sweetness then some lighter malts to close. It's a more mellow taste with light tropical fruits, mainly mango & some passionfruit with citrus & a few fruity hops further on. The body is lighter than I'd have liked thanks to the low abv. & it's semi-sweet but definitely seems bland right at the end.
