440ml can from Fierce Beer Online Shop (£4.15):
An oily looking, opaque black with a 1.5cm, bubbly head that's dark tan & settles as a thin surface lacing. Darker malts, some coffee bitterness & faintly tropical notes make up the nose with a few background hops; definitely dark on the nose. The taste is even more earthy & bitter, lots of coffee & earthy, dark & roasted malts that are a little overpowering towards the end & it's quite smoky into the bargain. It's a beer that starts well but fades quite fast, the taste on particular was disappointing & unbalanced.
