On tap at brewery:
An amber edge to the golden body makes the clearly visible objects on the other side of the glass a bit darker. Fair head retention and a bit of lacing here and there.
Nose is a mix of light toast malt, dulled tropical impressions, and ruby grapefruit rinds.
Taste is a mix of lightly toasted malt (as foretold) with a ruby red grapefruit bitter edge. A medium body gets boosted by a slightly above average carbonation. Back end gets a little more tropical, but stays on the bitter side. Lingering notes are a moderate mix of tropical and citrus rind bitterness.
A decent IPA that seems to me to lean west-coast with a malt backbone and a standard bitterness. Not tongue-ripping, but not soft and sweet, either.
