I tried this at Collusion Tap Works tasting room, served chilled in a glass.
the color is medium golden amber with very good clarity and white head with fine bead. The smell is mostly malt with a gentle yeast ester that has slight fruit and spice elements. the feel is good with malt dominance and mild yeast with moderate carbonation and semi-dry finish with moderately low bitterness.
The taste is good, I really like the yeast flavor in that it does not have a lot of phenolic quality it is subtle and supports the malt with a mild pear-like quality and the hops are enough to balance but do not really add a ton of flavor perhaps a subtle spice that compliments the yeast. this is a very good pale in the Belgian style I would recommend to those who enjoy Leffe perhaps
