I tried this at Collusion Tap Works, served on tap
The color is very dark brown with a khaki head with creamy appearance and opaque clarity. The smell is mildly woody with a subtle raisin-like sweet aroma. The feel is on the sweet side with a full body and moderately low carbonation with subtle alcohol and tannin.
The taste is good with a nice full malt with dark caramel/toffee-like sweetness and some mild roast with yeast adding some dark fruit and perhaps raisin to the taste with mild wood in the finish. Overall this is a pretty tasty stout but the sweetness makes it less likely to return to for a second pour
