In tap at brewery. Pretty thin for style, needs a heftier malt backbone but does have a very good flavor.

I tried this on tap at Collusion Tap Works, served chilled in a tulip.
The color is medium ruddy brown with tranclucent clarity and thin beige head with fine bead that settles to a ring. The smell is a nicely scented with mild raisin-like ester and gentle toast in the malt aroma. The feel is very good with medium body and low bitterness with a subtle toasted texture and medium high carbonation with semi-dry finish and low alcohol in the feel.
This is a very good tasting dubbel, true to style with some biscuit and slight raisin-like qualities with mostly yeast derived flavor however there is a nice malt support with low hop bitterness and a mild spice character that balances the sweetness. Overall I really enjoyed this it pays tribute to some of the best examples with a enjoyable yeast profile that is not overpowering.
