Draft at the brewery in a snifter. Pours a deep gold-amber; much lighter than I was expecting but probably in keeping with the style. Initial impression is a smooth, sweetish ale with strong malt presence, some hints of fruits, a little corn, and essentially no hops. Alcohol is fairly well-hidden. Sticky but smooth mouthfeel.
I never suspected you could jack a Cream Ale up to 10% ABV. This ain't your dad's Genny Cream Ale. Not my style, unfortunately.
