Bottled in 2022.
First off, bottle says 22oz, but it's obviously in a 1/2L bottle, so... not sure how that got by the TTB
Pours black with minimal tan head, next to no retention, a few spots of lace
Earthy, burnt caramel, toasted oak, fruit compote, espresso beans, 90% cocoa chocolate, roast aroma, some booze
Dark caramel, stewed fruit, dark chocolate, slight ash, boozy
Heavy bodied and almost flat, hot
If they made this a 9-10% beer and it had some carbonation, I might like it, as it smells really good and has a lot of what I'm looking for in an Imperial Stout, just too boozy and needs at least a bit of carbonation.
