Appearance - Pours a cloudy straw with two fingers of bubbly frothy white head.
Smell - banana, clove, pepper, bubblegum aromas, earthy, floral, and citrus hops, bready and grainy malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - banana, clove, and pepper. The earthy, floral, and citrus hops come through next followed by the bubblegum aromas. The brew then dives in with the citrus and lemon alongside the bready and grainy malts. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and dry alongside a pleasant stickiness from the hops.
Overall - A nice "hopped" hefe that takes there original hefe and adds a pleasant bitterness to the style. A nice brew for this "coolish" August Cowtown evening.
