Poured into a tulip from a 33cL can. The can is unassuming with a simple black background and with the german flag shaped like Alberta.
Beautiful golden hazy colour with two fingers of white head. Decent lacing and retention.
Nose is incredibly complex. Banana, citrus, and coriander are prominent but grass, bubblegum, clove, and stone fruit are also present. The nose does not weaken as you drink and adds a ton to the experience.
Complexity of the nose extends to the palate. All notes are present with none dominating, with the addition of subtle notes of hay and green apple. Incredibly well balanced. High carbonation makes it incredibly refreshing.
This is one of the best hefeweizen's I have ever had, if not the best. I struggle to remember a better one. A true treat for any beer lover.
