Approaching the building you can tell this is a very old place by Minnesota standards. Inside and I am reminded of bars in Europe with its cozy bar, winding hallways, and little hidden spots. About a dozen beers on draft with all but three being imports. The three that are not imports are their house beers. Besides whats on draft there is a massive bottle selection. Service was very friendly and knowledgable. Quick and attentive as well. There is a food menu but I did not get any food.
Now the negatives. I had two beers on draft and I did not think either was up to snuff. They tasted slightly off and definitely not very fresh. So I question the quality of the bottles as they could all be ancient.

This is the closest to an old time saloon I've ever found. The bar and food try to resemble life back in the day - authentic German sausage and rare/very obscure German beers are present, even on tap. Well worth the stop!

In the former Strip Club in Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood. It’s Historic and small has a bar area in the rear and small tables up front a spiral staircase has seating upstairs. Brew are lager’s Trappist Ales Belgian ales with some hard to get taps and bottles very nice, service good very knowledgeable and friendly, if your in the mood for import lager, ales this will suit you fine.
