A 330ml can with a BB of March 2017, so it's just out of date. Purchased a while back from Trembling Madness in York.
A: Poured into a Chimay chalice. Can conditioned. A rich, hazy amber hue with plentiful floating sediment and intense carbonation. Produces a vast head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a thick surface layer.
S: Aroma of juicy hops with hints of tropical fruit, melon, citrus, peel, earthy yeast and pale malt. Nice.
T: Tastes of fruity hops and yeast, with notes of citrus, mild tropical fruit, mild grass, earthiness and light malt. Very dry, with a crisp bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and dry, with prickly carbonation. Decent body; yeast coats the palate. Aftertaste of bitter fruity hops and earthy yeast.
O: Pretty good pale ale - nice hop presence. Looks alright, while the aroma and flavour are a satisfying blend of fruity hops and yeast. Body is OK; a tad overcarbonated. The main problem with this one is the overdevelopment of the yeast, probably due to me leaving it a bit too long. That said, a solid beer that is worth sampling if you come across it.
