Copenhagen 9/1 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of youngster on a surf board surfing on a sea of peaches while an octopus is trying to interfere.

Pours unclear golden yellow with a very big white head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely managing to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is intense, aggressively peachy and sweet. Peach in abundance, sugar, and more peach. Light tart notes of citrus and gooseberries rummaging in the background.

Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is fruity sweet followed by a moderately strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet with a more prominent tart streak. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish

More “flavored” than “Berliner Weiss”. A peach soda on steroids.

Hazy orange, one finger of foam, so and so.
Smell: peach, a lot. It seems a artifical flavoured peach tea.
Light lactic in the taste. Peach. Artificial.
No.

Another fantastic example of artwork on 330ml can from Wild Weather Ales.
L: Hazy, lustrous, golden colour with a thin smear of head.
S: Tinned peaches in syrup. Really prominent.
T: The flavour of peaches is far less pronounced than the smell of peaches. It’s hidden behind a strong, funky, yeasty, lightly sour barrier. A bit jarring.
F: Light body with a dry finish. Sweet aftertaste.
O: I know these type of wild ales are pretty outrageous at times but this example smacks of novelty. I’m not sure rich, syrupy peach was ever going to marry successfuly to the funky, earthy, wild yeast. Excellent artwork though.
