Copenhagen 3/3 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of a bunch of pirate monkeys wreaking havoc on the can.
Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving orange lemonade behind. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense, sweetish with light tart notes. Sweet fruity aroma. Light pineapple and rhubarb. Light acidity. Tart notes of unripe gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong tart sourness. aftertaste is sweetish with a moderate tart undertone. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
Lemonade-ish sour beer which manages to be quite well balanced between the sweet fruitiness and the tart sourness. But I must admit I do not understand the relation to Monkey Island.

330ml can, unpasteurised, unfiltered.
Take a lambic-style brew from Berkshire, England and add a massive hit of rhubarb and hibiscus. Very good, moderately sour, fruit beer. Unusual flavours executed well. Wonderful sweet shop aroma. Only criticism is I wish it was a little more sour and a little less sweet.
