330ml can. A “fruit crumble amber” brewed with barley, wheat, oats & fruit tea.
L: Murky, dark amber colour with a thin cap of off-white head.
S: Earthy, wet cardboard, spiced red currant.
T: Bittersweet fruit tea. A bit artificial tasting. Malt base is sweet & dry. There’s also a distinct rye flavour (although rye isn’t mentioned in the grain bill).
F: Flat & lacklustre body, slightly watery. Surprising given the rye flavour and the use of oats.
O: Doesn’t do anything for me. The taste of fruit tea is prominent but not pleasant.
