A lactose sour providing a creamy, lip puckering base for fruity to really shine on. In this instance, gooseberry provides the fruity punch!

Copenhagen 1/1 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of graveyard with green zombies with gooseberres for heads on the can.
Pours green-ish pale yellow with a small, bubbly white head. Disappears almost immediately leaving what looks like a urine sample from a person with malfunctioning kidneys behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, fruity and tart. Tart gooseberries in dominant position. Acerbic. Sugar and citric notes. Lemon and citrus.
Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, watery and lively - almost fizzy - texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a strong, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sharp, tart and sour. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
A tart cup of gooseberry juice.
