Copenhagen 16/4 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. C. Silver can with a Christmas holly with the characteristic red berries.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white, brown-ish head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty lightly toasted scent. Lightly roasted malts, hints of brown sugar, caramel, nuts and a bit biscuits.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a tart edge.
Not exactly very inspired by the Christmas celebration but a decent Brown Ale.
