Dirty gold color and crystal clear. Modest head. Multiple spots and two streaks make up the lace.
Dried apple with caramel nose. Malt forward with only a hint of hop for balance.
The crystal malt caramel flavors show up on the initial taste. Fuller bodied with a diminished carbonation level. The hop is subtle until the swallow which completes the black pepper bite. The aftertaste is balanced nicely.

330ml bottle best before 8.9.15
A - Juicy golden colour with a big creamy head that coats the glass as it recedes
S - It doesn't jump out at you, but it's a smooth balance of pale malt, a touch of sweetness, and a hint of pine.
T - Piney hops are more prominent and take the balance away from the malt, but are still quite soft. More pale ale than IPA at this point.
M - Full, but the finish is dry and refreshingly bitter
O - After reading other reviews I wasn't expecting much, but this is a really solid beer. If it were a pale ale, it would rate higher, but for an IPA it's a bit soft. If they doubled the aroma hops, it would be a knockout, but as is, it's a great session pale ale.
