Light chill haze to the golden color. Modest head that leaves a few spots and streaks on the glass.
Smoky and ashen aroma. Light alcohol.
The flavor starts with a full pale malt and a touch of toast. Slightly sweet. The body leans rich and is enhanced by the lower carbonation level. The ash comes back in the swallow although I don’t get any smokiness. The swallow is straight up bitter, leaving a longer aftertaste.
