Got this one from the interwebs somewhere
From a bottle into a snifter
Collaboration with The Bruery
Imperial Mexican Stout
APPEARANCE: Pours out very transparent light brown and yields a 1+ finger, medium looking, creamy light tan head with very good retention. Transparent brown body with piles and piles of carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a solid wisp and coats the class with foamy lacing. Too light and carbonated for the style.
SMELL: Roasted malts, milk chocolate aromas, light vanilla with some smoky chili peppers on the nose. Medium strength.
TASTE: Roasted flavors with smoky peppers, vanilla and milk chocolate up front with a bit of alcohol and pepper heat at the swallow, but very minimal. Medium finish of roasted malts, milk chocolate, some butterscotch and toffee flavors, smoky peppers and a bit of alcohol. Very little pepper heat, but flavorful enough.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Very smooth and creamy on the palate, enough weight, goes down fine and finishes a bit drier for the style. A touch of heat lingers.
OVERALL: This is alright. The look is certainly lack luster for the style, as it’s far too light in color, but the aroma and flavor work. The peppers are restrained, thought they do add a touch of smoky pepper character the profile. Enjoyable enough but not necessarily a show stopper.

Pours a pitch-black coloration with a medium, wispy head. Smells of caramel malt, brown sugar and coca cola, with lighter notes of chocolate, vanilla and dark fruit. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by syrupy sweet notes of caramel malt, brown sugar, coca cola and vanilla completely drowning out some milk chocolate, dark fruits and faint licorice. Finishes cloyingly sweet, with some caramel malt, brown sugarand vanilla lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a rich bodyand medium carbonation.
While the ABV is well-hidden, this is just unbelieveably, cloyingly, disgustingly sweet. Tastes like coca cola mixed with caramel syrup, brown sugar and vanilla. My guess is that way too much vanilla was added here, while the chipotle peppers are not noticeable at all and even the cocoa struggles to make an impression. Just a terribly balanced beer sorely lacking some roasted, bitter notes. The diabetes sure is strong with this one. FInding it very difficult to finish this. How this has such a high average rating is absolutely beyond me.

Sampled from draught @ Beer Temple, A'dam Pours a black colour with almost no (off white) head. Aroma's of rye bread, sweet malts, sypruppy, with light dark fruits. Flavour is light heavy sweet, somewhat roasted, rye bread. Full bodied. Long finish with rye bread. Mmmmm, rye bread.
