Got this from the Duvel guy in Utrecht
From a 33cl can into a snifter
EBC: 120
IBU: 65
Collaboration with Orpheus Brewing
Imperial Stout with Tonka Beans
APPEARANCE: Pours out clear black and yields a 2+ finger, medium, slightly looser looking, foamy crackly tan head with solid retention. Black body with no visible carbonation evident. Head slowly recedes to a foamy cap, then to a faint wisp and ring.
SMELL: Plenty of tonka aroma, with vanilla cream, milk chocolate, licorice and a bit of roasted malts on the nose. Solid strength.
TASTE: Roasted flavors, milk chocolate, some vanilla cream and tonka beans up front. Flavorful and well balanced. A bit of burnt malt and alcohol at the swallow, then a bold finish of milk chocolate and vanilla sweetness, roasted malts, some coffee bitterness, a solid tonka character and a bit of alcohol linger on the palate. Flavorful and more balanced than the nose had indicated.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. Creamy enough on the palate, goes down fine and finishes somewhat mouth-coating. No real heat lingers. Solid.
OVERALL: Good stuff. Enjoyable and well-made. The nose made me think it might be a little heavy on the tonka, but that was not the case at all. Lots of good flavor here and the feel supported the show. Good imperial stout by a good brewery. Been impressed with Fontaal lately. Give it a chance if you see it. Cheers!

Sampled at Poesiat & Kater's 2019 Stout Fest. Black color, big brown head, quickly receding. Aroma's: tonka, cinnamon, sweetish. Retronasal it's cinnamon, tonka, sweetish, fruit jam. Flavor is rather sweet, light fruity. Almost full bodied. Finishes roasty, moderate bitter. I quite liked this.
