This is what craft beer has become. There are days I really wish that the West Coast of the U.S. had stayed out of the beer business. This beer is not bad; it pours with a slightly yellowish tinge, decent head, and then you are into the taste. You have a malt based citrus fruit drink. This somewhat adult version of shandy seems to be what passes as great 'craft' beer. What happened to respect for carefully crafted, complex BEER? This is not it. Don't get me wrong, it is drinkable, but it just is another over hopped, citrus flavored version of something out of Sonoma. Hopefully this obsession will pass and brewers will go back to trying to brew great malty, complex multi layered flavored beer that doesn't taste like a distant cousin of a tropical drink with an paper umbrella.
