Pours a clouded amber to orange liquid with an eggshell colored, big, fluffy head atop.
Offers aromas of lime zest, blueberries and passion fruit among ripe oranges and subtle, bready toffee.
Has a fuller, soft mouthfeel with a fitting, smooth, yet refreshing level of carbonation.
Tastes of resinous, caramel accompanied bitter limes and ripe oranges, together with white bread dough and a light, flowery, herbal undertone. Has a toffee centered middle part with a lighter blueberry balance to it, also featuring a lasting lime dryness. Finishes with an intriguing interplay between a subtle sweet maltiness and resinous, dry and tropical appearing hops, leading to a smooth and well balanced, bitter aftertaste.
Well done double Ipa with a finely nuanced flavor composition, exhibiting a solid hop bitterness among a notable malt backbone.
