Purchased from First Choice Liquor in Waurn Ponds in late December 2023. Drank a week or so later in January 2024.
L: Hazy, pineapple yellow with a bright white head that leaves thick lacing down the glass. Lots of carbonation rushes up the sides of the glass.
S: Quite fruity and juicy. Because the can says it's a New Zealand IPA, my head immediately detects kiwi fruit in the nose, but we'll put that down to the power of suggestion!
T: Nicely tangy and fruity, with fresh citrus hop notes and the aforementioned kiwi fruit that's stuck in my head, but otherwise very juicy and moreish.
M: Very soft and full. Carbonation is minimal. The body suits the beer very well.
O: This can was purchased on a whim in the discount area for beers nearing their use-by date. As a result, I was not expecting to be drinking a juicy, citrusy IPA and was pleasantly surprised by how well the beer had held up. I would love to drink this fresh.
Cheers!

Milky yellow in colour. The beer closes from the top with a white, high head with a medium-long reduction time. It leaves decoration in the form of frothy islets.
In the aroma, a fruit bomb. There is pineapple, kiwi, lemon and many, many other citrus fruits.
The taste is gently sweet broken by an equally light bitterness. This one has a fruit zest character.
Saturation high downwards. Texture smooth, velvety. The liquid is thick, full. Aftertaste at low level, short, bitter.
