Poured from 330mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 1/27/24.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and two fingers of frothy, pillowy eggshell foam atop. The foam has great retention and leaves a beautiful lace on the glass -- just what a hefeweizen needs to do. Excellent!
Smell: rich wheat malt aroma with a good level of banana-clove. It tends more towards the clovey, spicy side of the scale, but still it's quite good.
Taste: wheaty and malty, though the banana/clove esters are toned down a little bit in the flavor. There's also a tiny hint of some kind of sourness, which detracts from the flavor a little bit for me. Not bad, but not totally clean.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: the look is fantastic, but there's just a little bit of off flavor in this beer that takes away a bit from my enjoyment of it. Otherwise, a nice hefeweizen.

Drank at Budapest, Hungary. Next are a few thoughts from a beer I've more than a month ago.
This was somewhat of a surprise. Being a fan of drinking wheat beers on draft, I've asked for a beer that I wasn't expecting it to be remarkable but when it got to the table, it was more of a Weizenbock then a Hefeweizen. My girlfriend, who's favorite beer is Weihenstephaner Vitus, was stunned by this beer. Incredibly creamy, so much aroma that it actually looked like a Vitus, not sure if in a blind tasting I'd be capable to differentiate both of them.
