I heard this place is looking for someone to take over the lease, and I was in the neighborhood so I went over to see what's up before it was gone.
Vibe is a wide open warehouse/modern vibe with visible brewing equipment and a white tile tap wall with cement floors. Amd night the lighting is verging on dim, which adds to the industrial bar atmosphere. In my opinion this vibe fits RiNo, but post gentrification, perhaps I'm in the minority. It does come off as a large neighborhood brewery as opposed to a downtown attraction, which could explain the total of 2 tables present in the 11 table plus a bar brewery.
Quality is decent. The Märzen was super duper clean and a good darker lager, but I just wanted more true malt flavor out of it.
Service was good with the bartender attempting conversion with me un provoked (I'm not the kind of guy to talk woth the bartender, so it caught me a bit off guard) After that 30 mins to close, he retreated to the back.
Selection is alright, but there were only a few beers I wanted to try with many barrel aged and fruited options and not many traditional offerings.
