The Brut IPA is supposed to be transparent, with a bone-dry feel and a transparent body. This attempt was somewhat unsuccessful.

L: This one pours with a hazy yellow body and plenty of snow white head. Lacing is a precise band of speckles.

S: It has a bit of a funky fruit base, featuring apricot, pineapple, pear, white grape, banana and yellow delicious apple, reminiscent of cider.

T: That funky flavor is heavier on the palate, bringing in fruity notes of banana, pear, pineapple, and apple. Not much malt base to speak of, just a slight sagey hop finish.

F: Considering that this is supposed to be a dry beer, this is a complete failure. Very juicy. Only a slight underripe banana dryness on the finish. Otherwise a similar feel to a typical NE IPA.

O: Eddyline Eff-ed this one up. I guess they canned it because the beer is still pretty tasty.

Hazy pale yellow color. Decent lacing. Funky aroma. Slight citrus. Taste funky as well. Citrus. Very dry. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Thanks to Wasatch for this one. Poured into a snifter. Somewhat pale in color, but it otherwise looks like a NEIPA with a very hazy yellow color and a frothy white head. Carbonation on par with a typical IPA. Aroma is medium intensity with citrus and pineapple. The taste followed - pineapple and citrus with faint resin. The feel was medium. This was dry but not bone dry like the other brut IPAs I've had. I would also like to see the carbonation higher. An enjoyable drink, though.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 10/22/18

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (tangerine, lemon, mango), with some nice little funkyness, grassy, nice diesel like. The taste is really nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice complex (tangerine, lemon, mango), with some nice little funkyness, grassy, nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. My first Brut IPA. Hard to pinpoint this brew. Glad to see it around here.
