16 oz. Can
Canned On: 09/01/24
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, melon, cantaloupe, mango, peach), with some pretty nice little diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, melon, cantaloupe, mango, peach), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Addictive! Orange Juilus! Milkshake!.

i always liked these guys and its been ages since i had any of their beers, special thanks to my homie for bringing this to share. shame no eddyline for not even naming this beer and using the same lingo everyone else uses, a bummer for sure in terms of creativity, but the beer is solid, as expected, drinkable too for the hazy style, and quite fresh to me. a little bit of an orange color to it through the haze, but this isnt as malty as it looks, its sweet enough for the juiciness to hold from start to finish, but its not grainy in any real way, nothing toasted or caramelized, and no real residual sweetness either, its not even all that full bodied. the hops drip melon and clementine and pine needles, tropical and fruity without being out of balance or forced, a floral element in the middle of it makes it kind of delicate tasting for how bold everything is around it, and the fermentation is good, no real yeast character here at all, which i think i am growing to prefer in the hazy style. high carbonation, palate coating hoppy goodness, i could have ripped through several of these last night. good to see these guys coming out with some new beers after leaning on the core lineup for so long, this was a treat to share with my buddy!
