Appearance: Arrives a cloudy goldenstraw with a two finger head; decent retention and squiggly lacing
Smell: Tropical aromatics with mango, tangerine and pine
Taste: Tropical fruit forward with mango tones; the middle brings both tangerine and pine, with the piney elements building into the finish; very green with a hop burn in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: There were a number of things I liked here but the green burn that iI tasted in several of Charles Towne's beers this go round was disconcerting

Amped up version of Sungazer. Hazy yellow. Big citrusy hop aroma and flavor; grapefruit with piney resinous character. Good balance with decent bitterness. Medium bodied and smooth with a dry bitter hop finish.

16 oz. can packaged 10/15/20, found in the Carolina beers section of a store in Columbia.
Impenetrable turbid Gold Haze, no floaties. One finger fine uniform white head, reduced to a full ring and cap, lacing curtains.
Tangerine, pineapple, tropical fruits, pepper, yeast scents.
Orange, lemon peel, melon, sour pineapple, light malt flavors.
Hop tickle on the tongue with some sweetness developing during the swallow. Good carbonation. Coating mouthfeel, dry.
Can’t beat Sungazer, but a worthy member of its family.

Canning date smudged, I think it says 4/23/20
Pours a large foamy frothy 1.5 finger head with moderate retention, some soapy lacing, very hazy cloudy peach color
Nose has that NEIPA type mineral and softness character, creamy doughy malts and flaked wheat proteins, a hint chalky, hops bring plenty of citrus and tropical, mango sorbet, tangerine, generic tropical, etc
Taste brings more of the tropical fruits out front, mango mostly, into generic citrus and tangerine or orange cream, sorbet like again, creamy juicy soft base with more suspended flaked proteins like wheat or oats, touch of chalky minerals again adding to the softness, very low bitterness, light doughy malt, drier finish with a little warming alcohol late, again very little bitterness
Mouth is med bod, higher prickly carb and light warming alcohol
Overall this was definitely just a double NEIPA, not DIPA, so not happy that the label states DIPA, there's a big difference, judging this as a double NEIPA it's not bad, chalky minerals came through a tad so maybe dial those back a little, but still soft and juicy, hops didn't pop as much as I thought they would, plenty of aroma and flavor but not the big pop, so most categories I'll judge as NEIPA, but overall gets the DIPA rating with lack of bitterness of DIPA and way too soft chewy like

Pours a cloudy bright orange with a well retained half inch white head that left nice lacing. Smells of citrus and tropical fruits, a hint of malts and some pine. Tastes of orange, orange peel, pineapple, lemon, a bit of pine and some malts on the finish. Medium bodied and carbonated, creamy mouth feel, light bitterness and a bit of a dry finish.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a pint glass. Had a bright orange / yellow color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Fantastic lacing.
S: A light and sweet aroma of hops, citrus fruit, pine, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish; drowned out by hops), a decent amount of citrus fruit (orange, lemon), a good shot of hops (not too much, though), a good bit of pine, and some tropical fruit (pineapple). A nicely done flavor that hits all the right notes. It's pretty hoppy, but not too bitter. Tasty stuff.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth, dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly made, easy to drink DIPA. Worth a try.
