Appearance - Pours black with nice mocha colored head that dissipates to a thin ring with no lacing.
Aroma - Huge maple syrup nose, this thing smells just like a stack of pancakes. The blueberries are a bit of an undertone while the vanilla comes out nicely. Very sweet aroma as expected.
Taste - The maple syrup plays the biggest role in the flavor followed by a very balanced combination of vanilla and blueberries. I was surprised the taste is not as sweet as the nose lets on. There is a bit of a char flavor as well like charred wood.
Feel - very thick full bodied and oily. Smooth the heat from the alcohol is there but very impressed with how well the alcohol is hidden. Pretty dry finish.
Overall - Really well done stout great flavors super balanced and dangerously drinkable.
