16 ounce can - $4.50 at Woodstock Beer Market in Woodstock, Georgia.
Appearance: Well-hazed, pale orange-yellow body with an initially well-frothed, white head.
Smell: Tropical, fruity, citrusy vibe with some lighter, lesser woodsy, grassy accents atop a modest golden treacle glazed base of coarse, raw grains.
Taste: Sweetish, fruit-forward flavors of pineapple rings, passion fruit, oil-glistening lemon-lime. Meager hint of discarded pencil shavings and herb stems. Soft, cushiony raw grains with a vein of honeyish sweetness. Minimally bitter. Fairly soft finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-soft carbonation. Lightly creamy mouthfeel.
Overall: Tropical, zesty and pretty easy-drinking.

Had been holding on to this can hoping to share it with JLindros but doesn't look like that'll be happening any time soon. Canned on 3/3/20.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a nice hazy golden hue with a good two finger white head that faded slowly to leave some sticky lacing and a thick blanket.
S - Aromas of lighter New Zealand hops, I swear I almost get a Nelson hop aroma though as it has an almost white grape must going on. Nice soft tropical notes with lots of lemon lime type of aroma which is pleasant. Maybe a little bit of almost dank passion fruit. Solid malt backbone and grain aroma.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with nice softer lemon and lime citrus flavour. More of an almost dank generic tropical fruit flavour but the very bright almost spritzy lime flavour here prevents this from coming across as a 'cookie-cutter' single hop pale. The finish has just a little bit of bitterness and some lingering spicy hops. Just slightly oily on the finish but not in a bad way.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, clean, little bright. Spot on for an APA.
O - Overall this was quite an enjoyable APA. Great hop and malt balance with enough hop flavour to make this really enjoyable. That being said I still wish the Motueka popped a bit more aggressively on the tropical element. Still though, this is certainly a beer worth having again. I actually enjoyed the Motueka characters in this much more than I did Hill Farmstead's single hop Motueka Pale Ale they did. That right there is pretty impressive Charles Towne Fermentory!
