Brewed for Oktoberfest, lagered for 8 weeks. Rich amber, bold malt character without the sweetness. Toasted biscuit, light caramel, crisp finish.

Murky golden body and khaki head with lacing. Bready yeast with grain and caramel malt in a simpler but steady nose. Taste adds grassy hops and in the malt mild cereal flakes and faint apple. Feel is yeasty and malty with a frothy finish, lighter but full.

16 ounce can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.
Canned 9/11/20
Pours gold and mostly clear, showing some dry small rising bubbles. The off-white head is only about a half inch and fades quick without lace. The nose is mostly spicy hops, nice but mostly disappears with the head. Taste is caramel malt and spicy hops with floral hops taking over. It finishes with a hoppy crisp bite. The body and carbonation are both medium and it has an astringent tongue coating quality. OK but not one I have to have again.

Pretty smooth beer w/malt forwardness, light spiciness. Leans towards malt sweetness which dampens other flavors, IMO. Still a decent US fest-märzen.
