Listed as, I swear, a “dry-hopped Italian-style Pilsner”
Has the slightly hazed straw look of more than a few German Pilsners. The head doesn’t hold up but isn’t slacking off completely.
Nose has a slightly odd citrus rind edge to it, but also hits with crusty bread and light noble hops.
Taste is a little more sweet/less dry, but with a bit of spice to counteract. Interestingly, there’s a slight “skunky” note that borders on being a nice touch. Bitterness is the anticipated grassy to minerally notes I’d expect from an import.
A little less dry overall, there’s still some recognizable aspects here. As an “Italian” Pilsner, I cant say. It seems a little bit of a cross of macro-lager and Pilsner, leaning towards the latter.
