Dark Mexican Lager
Dry and drinkable, this one is layered with delicate notes of dark fruit and just a hint of dry roastiness to balance a touch of crystal malt character.

16 oz. can dated 5/4/21
Slow pour into a Pilsner glass results in a centimeter tan head, reducing to a partial ring and skimpy islands. Minimal lacing.
Roast malt, coffee, cocoa, popcorn aromas.
Coffee, figs, dark chocolate, nuts.
Light bodied, bitter hoppiness, low carbonation.
I was expecting something like a Bohemia, but this was more like a schwartzbier or nut brown ale with significant roasty flavor.
