Appearance: Arrives the color of pink grapefruit juice with a mauve head; decent retention and squiggles of lacing
Smell: Plum and blackberry are prominent but the raspberry and cherry tones also make a statment
Taste: Plum flavor forward with the berries adding some sweet and tart tones; the cherry arrives in the finish, starting out sweet but building to a moderately tart character
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Nice fruit flavors with just enough sourness in the finish to balance out the profile

A little coaxing ($) and it arrived in a clear pint glass, drawn from a tap. It's color is dull reddish mauve. There aren't many brews that are this color. Typical for those in this category, there's no head, nor glass lacing. The carbonation appears to be at best, moderate. The aroma is softly berry-like and mild, with no sourness detected. But, what's there is pleasant. It tastes much more fruity than sour, or even tart. That doesn't mean a negative. Actually, the taste of this is outstanding. You get a delicious blend of fruit, most likely berries, in a rich and balanced dose. This, delivered by a medium that is as supple as any fruited sour you'll try. Its body is world class. Certainly, it's not a sour sour, not even tart. That may offend some purists, understandably. But, it's a remarkably delicious brew that will remind its drinker of XL Jammy Pants from Great Notion, if they are fortunate enough to have had both.
