A Tavour Treat. Pours a dark brown color with virtually no head. Aroma is chocolate, maple syrup and roasted malts. Taste is sweet , maple syrup and vanilla. Black coffee and a slight alcohol warmth at the finish.

Pours a jet black brew which forms a dark carmel head that dissipates fairly quickly with no lacing and minimal retention. Aromas of maple syrup, molasses, brown sugar, cacao, and roasted malts. Flavor follows the nose: roasted malts, cacao/chocolate, maple syrup, some burnt sugar, and a hint of molasses. A good balance of sweet and a bitter. Medium bodied. Overall, a good beer. The ABV is not apparent when sipped, but you can feel it later on. A beer worth buying again.
