Slight haze with this otherwise golden coloration. Fine white fluffy cap holds on tight, plenty of lacing.
The hop aroma has a lemon zest thing upfront, maybe even keylime pie. Otherwise, grainy golden malt and spring water in the nose.
A very crispy first sip, light to medium bodied with a very lush and smooth finish. Feels great.
Golden grains and crispy malt gets me first in the taste, then earthy hops with a very definite lemon zest flavor overriding everything else except for the crispy, golden malted grains. Balance is really good as this one leans toward a New England style Pale Ale in many ways, including the haze.
A fun beer with decent depth and very unique hop effects.

Poured from a growler filled at the brewery.
Pours a hazy golden orange color with a finger of bubbly white head. The head settles into a halo that rests atop the beer, leaving a fair bit of lacing as it goes.
The aroma is very faint, but pleasant. Lots of bright citrus up front, followed by a subtle, biscuit malt backbone.
The taste follows the nose. Subtle notes of orange and grapefruit on the front end, then comes a wave of doughy malt, pine, and cracked pepper on the finish.
The body is light, with moderate carbonation. Goes down smooth, with some lingering bitterness.
Overall, a solid all-around pale ale. It's light in body, nose and flavor, but it's incredibly easy to drink and has just enough dryness to keep your mouth on the glass.
